The entire Rockingham Redi-Mix team is committed to supplying environmentally friendly and energy efficient products. Our concrete contains a high percentage of locally and regionally available materials along with recycled materials. Additionally, we have a LEED Accredited Professional on staff to help ensure LEED Certified projects are handled in an efficient manner.
We now have the capability to replace up to 50% of the aggregate in our flowable fill mix with crushed recycled glass. This is in addition to the environmental benefits already obtained by using a pozzolan manufactured using 100% pre-consumer recycled material. Our new environmentally friendly mix contains approximately 2% pre-consumer recycled content and 40% post-consumer recycled content by weight.
